The first ever division-wide Book Club

is about to begin.

Several teachers attended a workshop in Saskatoon presented by Rick Wormeli. We came away inspired and want to continue the dialogue. We think we've found the way. Feel free to join the book study of Fair Isn't Always Equal: Assessing and Grading in a Differentiated Classroom by Rick Wormeli by requesting wiki membership or by contacting JoAnne Kasper at joanne.kasper@lskysd.ca.

Each Friday, a comment will be posted in the Discussion forum (see the toolbar at the top of the page). It will be someone's reaction to the chapter being read that week. Please repsond to the opening post and add your reaction and thoughts to Rick Wormeli's ideas in the book. Feel free to respond to the comments posted, but also to add your own insights and reactions.

Volunteer Request
We need volunteers to commit to posting the inital response to get the discussion going. I've listed the dates below, If you put your name beside the date, you have volunteered to put up a questions, an argument, an AHA! that came up as a result of your reading the chapter. The inital post should be up by 5:00 p.m. on the Friday.
